Our Teams

At P.I.C Netball Club, we’re proud to field five teams across Wellington’s top netball grades. We play on Saturdays in the Netball Wellington Centre Competition at Akau Tangi in Kilbirnie and have our club trainings there on Wednesday evenings.

Premier 1 (Top Grade)

We have two teams P.I.C 1 and P.I.C 2 competing in Premier 1—the top grade of club netball in Wellington. This grade is highly competitive and often features players from ANZ Premiership franchises, the National Netball League, New Zealand Secondary Schools, Aotearoa Māori, and Wellington Representative teams. Both our P.I.C 1 and P.I.C 2 teams finished in the top three for a number of years. 

Premier 2

We also have two teams in Premier 2 P.I.C 3 and P.I.C 4, a grade that blends experience and emerging talent. You’ll find both up-and-coming players developing their game and former Premier 1 athletes continuing to contribute at a high level. This grade also includes at least one to two collegiate teams—many of whom have earned promotion from Premier 3—making it a vibrant and dynamic space for growth.  

Premier 3

P.I.C 5 our Premier 3 team is a self-selected team consisting of past Premier players. This is a social team that does not train.
